David’s Cake Craft offers bespoke intensive one to one training for the student who wants to learn cake decorating tailored to their individual requirements as David designs you an exclusive unique personalised training program, teaching cake decorating life skills at a level to suit your individual needs to give maximum information and creativity.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced, with David’s support and guidance you will embrace centuries old free hand approach, creating spontaneously onto the cake surface without having to use any templates, stencils, cutters, modelling tools or moulds, so making cake decorating quicker, easier and more profitable, while focusing on evolving your skills to a new level.

Having had the honour of creating a Royal Engagement Cake and 2 Royal Wedding Cakes for the British Royal Family as well as creating many wedding cakes for both celebrity and society clientele, David will share trade secrets along with his business experiences from over 35 years of running his multi-award winning Liverpool based retail cake store which he originally started in from home 1981.

Winner of The National Training Award and celebrating with City and Guild ‘Distinctions’ achieved through 2 years of intensive college training, including spending 3 years in corporate baking industry, David can teach you quick and easy commercial cake decorating techniques as well as more complex cake decorating while addressing important scientific and technical aspects, giving you confidence to evolve in both your creative cake art and freestyle piping skills.

The minimum age requirement for a student to attend a David’s Cake Craft cake decorating course is 18 years of age.
